Floriana Betti Bindi
Born in Italy, Floriana Betti Bindi earned a degree in Fashion Design at the Accademia di Moda “Koefia” in Rome and at the Instituto Secoli in Milan, and she successfully worked for almost 20 years with high-end firms such as Calvin Klein and Prada.
She moved to New York City in 1996 where she pursued a life long Holistic passion and obtained a certification in Herbal Medicine from the renowned Open Center in New York and a Holistic Health Counselor certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, recognized by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
In her practice Floriana uses her extended knowledge of the mind-body connection, nutrition & herbal remedies. Her sensitivity as an artist creates a safe haven, where her clients can freely express themselves and learn exciting and practical ways to a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
Having held a senior position in a high pressure-working environment, she is able to teach her clients about the importance of “focus” and “strength” enabling them to lead a happier and more productive life.
This process specifically focuses on her clients’ current diet, with the integration of programs tailored to their personal needs.
In these programs the focus is not on sacrifice and discipline, but rather on joy and great taste, that characterized all her cooking teaching, updated with the most modern theories for a healthy nutrition. Local native herbs, visualization and meditation are used as a support in the process.
As a partner in the counseling group Vitality Soul Spa, she organizes nutrition classes for adults, children and adolescents.
Loved by the young ones for her “out of the box “ approach to life, she appeals to their sense of curiosity and research in the realm of health as a positive value.
She is also the author of articles on healthy nutrition and cooking, published in such acclaimed magazines as “ Body and Brain “ and “ Elle Italia”.
